Development Securities in partnership with Morley Fund Management and Union Investment Real Estate has pre let 74,000 sq ft (6,900 m2) of One Kingdom Street at PaddingtonCentral to Misys plc, the global software and solutions company. Misys has taken a 15 year lease with 5 yearly rent reviews. Their fit out in under way and approximately 695 staff are expected to occupy the building from June 2008.
One Kingdom Street, the only building currently available in the West End that can accommodate requirements of over 100,000 sq ft, completed in February 2008 and has a remaining 188,000 sq ft (17,440 m2) available.
Julian Barwick, Managing Director of Development Securities said, "To achieve a pre-let for nearly one-third of the building six months ahead of practical completion was very satisfying. I am very confident that we will be announcing further deals in the coming months".
